All replacement earring backs are sent with an additional clear plastic backing to help prevent slipping. For best results, put in your earring, attach gold backing (make sure that it is on straight), and follow with the plastic backing for extra security. To ensure that your earrings and earring backs stay put, it is recommended that you remove earrings before showering, towel-drying, or sleeping. Enjoy!
