There’s something about the geometry of step-cut stones that gets me. They feel equal parts antique and modern, and they throw BIG sparkle. Originally, I was going to model today’s ring exactly after last AMOR’s Asscher Sapphire Ring, but after setting the accent diamonds and carving the first two chevron accents, I had an intrusive thought: “What if you keep going??”

So, I kept carving, and I love the result — a half-band full of texture and character. This type of experimentation is part of why I love AMOR so much, cool things happen when there’s no time to overthink or plan.

A 1ct asscher cut lab diamond, accented with two 1.2mm natural brilliant cut diamonds and a hand-carved solid 14k band.
